We love food. Did I mention we love food? Oh, and wine of course!
We've listed some of our favourite dishes, delicacies, treats (and Shawn's many many ice cream indulgences) here for your viewing pleasure.

First day of our trip we took the local advice and headed to Veloso Bar-a local favourite. 
On the menu? 50 different types of Caipirinha's and the famous dish of Brazil-Coxinha's. 
Low fat? Oh sure! Delicious? You betcha!

Did someone say dessert? The dessert cart was a nightly treat on the island;) (right)
Brazilian speciality-pork, pork, and oh-more pork! And of touch of greens to even this dish out. (left)

Caiprinha's are free flowing in Brazil (think mojito). They are the national drink you know!
Best pizza ever! (Ilha Grande, Brazil)


Do you see the excitement?! Brazilian Steak house/BBQ. With 26 kinds of meat, who can complain?


Argentinean buses-what's not to love?! When they serve you Whisky, beer and champagne before you even get outta the first town? Now that's serve! The breakfast? hmm, I added the fruit dish from dinner to wash down all the breaded & sugared items. Yikes!

Ahh Buenos Aires... 
San Telmo market's fresh squeezed OJ, homemade pizza & local brewed beer-mmm so fresh...
but let's not forget the numerous trips to the supermarcado for the best selections in Buenos Aires?!

Breakfast-a challenge for the gluten intolerant. Comes with a side of-you guesses it-dulce de leche! (right)

Microbrew stop on our 25km bike trip with a side of homemade empanadas.
Camping in Argentina is easy with $5 steaks and $2 wine;)

What goes best with Mendoza wines? Why steak and olives of course!

Chilean specialties-fries stacked with shredded beef, grave & top with a fried egg. Chilean version of poutine?
Best handmade empanadas in Valpo at Famosa.


Mexican in Santiago? Might I add it was delicious!



Shawn's favourite treat. Our deal? For every piece of leather I bought in Argentina, Shawn got to buy himself an ice cream. I think he still outnumbered me...

Best Japanese ever at Kura in Sydney. 

Melbourne Market had the BEST doughnuts I've ever tasted!

Sushi in the park is a new thing of ours in Australia. 
$2-$2.50 pieces mean you can really feast anytime of day.

Chinatown Sydney-hidden gem. Yummers!

THAILAND
Bangkok street meat. 
Bugs of every kind. Grasshoppers, scorpions, cockroaches, grubs...

Curry soups, pad thai wrapped in omelette, radish cake dim sum...
what's not to love about Bangkok?!

Lovin' the selection at the Bangkok markets. 

The night markets of Chiang Mai, Thailand are the best places to find excellent, cheap, Thai delicacies. 

Khao Soi. The most delicious dish in Thailand. 
A curry coconut base with stewed chicken or beef, flat egg noodles, and topped with crispy noodles, cilantro, onions and pickled stuff...incredible!

Street food. Fried naan topped with banana, honey and chocolate sauce. Deadly!

Best breakfast. Sticky rice, coconut milk and mango. I could eat this everyday!

LAOS
First meal in Loas. So good we ate it before the photo...
Two beer Lao and two noodle bowls=$7

Trying the traditional Loas dish of Laap. Cooked water Buffalo with herbs and spices. Yum!

Luang Prabang market food. Everything you can fit on a plate for $1. 
Best deal in town...maybe not the smartest though...

Need I say more?

Vietnam baby!
Pho for breakfast, lunch and dinner. $1.5/bowl.

Worlds cheapest beer right here. 
$.25c draft and $.80c bottles.

Vietnam street treats. Korean pancakes. Only $.80c
So good we went back for another;)

Vietnamese coffee AKA motor oil

Fresh carrot and watermelon juice everywhere for $1 in Hanoi

Most delicious Bun (beef noodle soup) in Vietnam yet! Hue.

Daily buffet breakfast at our hotel in Hoian. $20/night gets you breakfast, and sweet room and a pool to lounge by. Not a bad deal!
